Must have experience sorting logs and loading them onto a log truck.\nResponsible for unloading and loading log trucks using heavy equipment such as a Link Belt 290, 350, & 4040.\nResponsible for sorting logs by length, size, and species. Responsible for decking logs and taking down log decks.\nResponsible for inspecting equipment for safety and maintenance as well as greasing and fueling equipment as needed. Maintain a clean work area around the log yard.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nHeavy equipment experience is preferred. Knowledge of log species and ability to identify log species is required.\nMust complete annual safety meeting training, such as SFT, hearing test, CPR, Fire Suppression.\nHigh School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver’s License required. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug tests administered during the course of employment.\nPhysical Requirements/Environmental Setting: Sitting, standing/walking, crouching, knelling/crawling, stooping twisting, climbing/balancing, leg/foot use, handling/grasping, interaction with others, deadlines, and repetitive work. Employee must be able to push, pull, lift, or carry at least 50 lbs.
