This project will focus on replacing old UI technologies with the new industry standards, and untimely delivering a fresh, enhanced user experience.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nWork with other team members to rewrite the user interface for Banking Supervision applications.\nMigrate old technologies to new generation technologies.\nDevelop and estimate solutions using defined user requirements, working with the customer to clarify and further define requirements as needed.\nWork with and mentor other team members in the listed technologies as needed.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTen plus years of proven application development experience that includes creating distributed applications through analysis of specific business requirements.\nUnderstanding and demonstrated use of object-oriented design principles.\nEight years of Java and J2EE programming experience.\nUnderstanding and demonstrated use of J2EE patterns and frameworks.\nSix years of experience with Spring Framework stack.\nExperience with web model view controller (MVC) frameworks (i.e. Spring MVC, etc.).\nFive years of Ajax/JQuery experience.\nExperience working with Application server (i.e. WebSphere, Weblogic, JBOSS).\nFive years of experience developing JSPs.\nExperience with developer testing practices (i.e. JUnit, Mockito, etc.) and understands the differences between unit, functional, and system tests.\nFive years of experience working with relational database (i.e. MS-SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and concepts.\nFive years of experience with the Rational Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse tool.\nPractical experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool (i.e. Subversion, Maven, Clear Case, etc.).\nAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems.\nAbility to complete tasks or project assignments with minimal supervision.\nAbility to estimate development effort based on documented business requirements.\nAbility to clearly communicate design decisions and tradeoffs.\nAbility to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.\nAbility to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.\nNice to Have:\nA bachelor`s degree is preferred. Certification is a plus.
