All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply, including individuals with disabilities and Protected Veterans.\n\nJob Description:\nPLEASE NOTE: This is a Hybrid position located in our Elmhurst, IL location 2-3 times per week.\nThis position will contribute directly to the enterprise’s global cloud architecture and help own the security vision and strategy for cloud-based applications. This person will be responsible for maintaining and elevating the security across our cloud environments. The Sr. Cloud Security Engineer role includes involvement in the creation and/or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures as well as ensuring compliance of cloud service providers. This person is expected to be fully aware of the enterprise’s security goals as established by its stated policies, procedures, and guidelines, and to actively work towards upholding those goals.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, deploy, and manage cloud security tools and services\nDesign and implement scalable processes to provision cloud access\nEvaluate and respond to alerts and events from security tools\nIdentify and resolve security issues across the cloud infrastructure\nCollaborate with security leadership, engineering, and compliance to execute security strategies\nReview our cloud architecture and design through a security lens to provide actionable, timely requirements and recommendations\nServe as a subject matter expert for security tools, applications, and processes\nConduct cloud security planning to determine and describe security necessities\nMaintain knowledge of diverse cloud platforms\nDevelop cloud security criteria, procedures, and policies\nIntegrate cloud-aware authentication mechanisms\nUtilize security orchestration and response automation (SOAR) for cloud environments\nProvide guidance and oversight for the correction of discovered cloud vulnerabilities\nPerform security operations (SecOps) responsibilities\nIntegrate security into the development lifecycle of software (SSDLC)\nEstablish requirements, methodologies, and operational metrics software development procedure (SecDevOps)\nAssist other teams in solving security issues in a manner that complies with business requirements and best practices\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related area preferred, plus 3-8 years of experience in Cloud Security OR 8-10 years of Cloud Security Experience\nExperience architecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure solutions\nExperience deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners, static analyzers, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security monitoring\nExperience with log management and/or correlation systems\nFluent in one or more programming or scripting language\nThorough understanding of cloud and network security\nKnowledge of modern cloud technology components and deployment patterns\nKnowledge of Zero Trust principles\nBenefits That Drive Your Success\nGerber offers the comprehensive benefits you expect from an industry leader, including:\nCompetitive Pay Plans\nMedical, Prescription Drug, Dental & Vision Insurance\n401(k) Retirement Plan with company match\nEmployer Paid Short-Term Disability & Life Insurance\nPaid Vacation & Holidays\nContinuing Education Opportunities\nGerber Collision & Glass is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
