For more information, visit www.abm.com The Janitorial Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, ensuring facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. This role supervises janitorial staff, manages schedules, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures client satisfaction. Pay: $20.00/hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-5 years of janitorial or facilities services experience At least 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed Basic computer skills (timekeeping systems, reports, email) Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds Frequent use of cleaning equipment and machinery Exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying environmental conditions Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead janitorial staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management Inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards Assign daily tasks and monitor completion of cleaning duties Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate reordering as needed Address and resolve employee or client concerns in a timely manner Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA and company compliance standards are followed Track attendance, payroll inputs, and productivity metrics Communicate with management and clients regarding service quality and improvements Assist with cleaning duties as needed during staffing shortages or peak times
