Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team within the agency and the outpatient clinics servicing residents.Duties IncludeManage a caseload of up to 10 clientsBe responsible for completing all assigned paperwork in a timely manner adhering to OASAS regulationsProvide direct responsibility for an active caseload, which dictates that clients are seen on a regular basis. This requires all aspects of comprehensive planning, in terms of long and short-term goals for this caseload Complete assessment and discharge planConduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions as needed Supervising daily activities/structure of programPerform crisis intervention as necessaryAttend Weekly Treatment Team Meetings, Monthly Staff Meetings, WeeklyClinical Supervision and monthly Group SupervisionAttend trainings as deemed appropriatePerform record keeping (clinical and administrative) Complete weekend highlightsFacilitate Groups and Classes as designated by administrative staffWill be expected to work nights as deemed necessary and will also be assigned for on-call rotationAdhere to Agency policies and procedures and perform other related tasks as assignedIn addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy many unique benefits, including 14 paid holidays, access to health insurance at the start of your first full month of employment. Educational RequirementsKnowledge of methods of dealing with personality and emotional difficulties relating to the abuse of alcohol and other drugs Ability to plan and organize a caseloadKnowledge of the methods of institutional managementThorough expertise in individual, group and family counselingMaintain all records and reports in an acceptable, professional mannerBachelors' degree or HS Diploma/GED with 3 consecutive years in residential program (preferably Substance Abuse)
