You'll work with diverse and talented group of individuals committed to making a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nOther Responsibilities include\r\n\r\nCommunication with clients before and after site visit and post report production, to review/clarify scopes and explain observations and findings.\r\nPerform on-site interviews with a variety of individuals to collect histories, data, concerns, etc.\r\nPhotograph site conditions with an eye to explain conditions and determining cause of loss.\r\nReview codes, standards, research and apply critical formulation of facts to develop conclusions that assist clients resolve concerns and are defensible.\r\nMaintain good project data management/storage practices.\r\nSupervise, when appropriate, junior engineer (EI's) in field work, report development, and research.\r\nDevelop reports that outline site observations, applicable codes, standards, findings, and conclusions.\r\nTestify in legal proceeding, when required, in correlation to work product.\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\nIf you possess the following experience & qualifications, then we encourage you to apply.\r\n\r\nB.S. Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architecture Engineering.\r\nM.S. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is preferred.\r\nResidential and/or Commercial inspection & assessment experience is a plus.\r\nKnowledge of building codes and standards and construction practices is required.
