Repair TechnicianLocation: Lanham, MD 20706 Duration: 06 Months ContractJob Description:Radio depot work, radio repair, upgrades, troubleshooting, programming, cleaning equipment, collecting documentation, serial numbers, model number and features.Knowledge of telecommunication test equipment, like, DVM, Service Monitors, Watt Meters.Windows Office experience, mechanically inclined, Computer knowledge, Capable of following procedures, Client Radio knowledge helpful.Main Responsibilities:Repair, upgrade, and program MSI two-way radiosSet up, adjust, and operate test equipment per procedureMonitor equipment performancePerform test runs and document radio/device performanceTroubleshoot and diagnose issues using documented methodsCollect and report test data; validate resultsRequired Qualifications:Knowledge of two-way radiosRF communications expertiseUnderstanding of RF and electronics theoryProficiency in Windows and Google Suite applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain accurate documentationExperience in repair center or customer serviceTeam-oriented work stylePreferred Qualifications:Mechanically inclinedExperience with cell phone repairLaptop repair experienceFamiliarity with MSI productsNetworking and computer hardware skillsSoftware Proficiency:Google DocsMicrosoft Excel
