Backend Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team at Bluum Finance. You’ll be working on building and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our investment API platform, enabling companies to launch modern wealth experiences for their users.Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs for our investment platformBuild and maintain infrastructure responsible for REST APIs, data processing, and production systemsCollaborate with mobile and web teams on project requirements and system designWork closely with the CTO and engineering leadership on architecture decisionsMaintain staging and production infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with financial regulationsWrite clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviewsMonitor and optimize system performance for large-scale, multi-tenant systemsRequirements:Proven experience in backend development with languages such as Python, Node.js, Go, or similarExperience building and maintaining REST APIs and microservices architectureStrong understanding of system design, databases, and distributed systemsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as codeKnowledge of financial systems, payments, or fintech is a plusExperience with large-scale, multi-tenant systems or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation packageRemote-first work environmentOpportunities to work on cutting-edge financial infrastructureCollaborative and innovative team cultureProfessional growth and development opportunitiesIf you’re passionate about building scalable backend infrastructure and want to make an impact in the fintech space, we’d love to hear from you.
