Love your job.\n\nTexas Instruments is seeking an IT Network Engineer to plan, architect, design, budget and implement LAN, Wireless and WAN network solutions for its Manufacturing and Enterprise locations, across multiple platforms and protocols to support TI's business needs. The engineer will also participate in day-to-day operations support as needed.\n\nResponsibilities include:\nGathering customer and system connectivity requirements used as inputs into building resilient network solutions.\nCoordinating with stakeholders/suppliers/vendors, both internal and external, to ensure on-time project delivery.\nOwnership of factory, design, datacenter and sales office network documentation and plans for their area(s) of the infrastructure.\nCollaborating to develop technology roadmaps, considering business needs and in alignment to overall IT strategies.\nSupporting and troubleshooting network faults during break/fix activities and events.\nPeriodic review of network capacity, usage and health metrics for respective area(s) of responsibility to plan for upgrades or performance adjustments.\nCollaborating with other IT groups to understand the future requirements for network capacity at TI's locations.\n\nWhat we will look for:\nAbility to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally.\nEngineering and architecture skills necessary to interpret business requirements and needs to deliver new network solutions.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.\nDemonstrated strong interpersonal, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to take the initiative and drive for results requiring little day-to-day direction.\nStrong technical background in network operations and business engagements in a highly complex global enterprise.\nStrong prioritization, time management and negotiation skills that enable on-time project delivery.\nAbility to travel and provide after-hours and/or weekend support duties as scheduled or deemed necessary during implementation of network engineering projects.\nExperience in working effectively with globally diverse cross-functional teams.\nExperience with following suppliers - Cisco LAN & WAN, Arista LAN & WAN, Aruba Wireless.\nAbility to understand, diagnose and quickly fix complex network infrastructure issues across TI.\nDeep understanding of routing protocols, OSPF & BGP, and how they are deployed in large corporate environments.\n\nTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience\n3+ years of work experience responsible for designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks\nExperience learning network automation, software, frameworks, and APIs\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nCurrent CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent.\nDeep understanding and hands-on experience with Arista campus and datacenter architecture, including Spine and Leaf topologies.\nProven ability to implement and manage network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies.\nFamiliarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and practical application.\nUnderstanding network automation tools, specifically CVP, CVAAS, and AVD.\nExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), demonstrated through experience with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.\nExperience in cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure), particularly with cloud connectivity solutions like VPN and Direct Connect.\n\nAbout Us\nWhy TI?\nEngineer your future.
