That’s why learning, development, and clinical excellence are central to everything we do.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Medical Assistant Training Coach who is passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing others. In this role, you’ll partner with Learning and Operations teams to deliver hands-on, competency-based training that prepares Medical Assistants to confidently and consistently deliver high-quality patient care.This role is ideal for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys mentoring, traveling within a market, and playing a meaningful role in onboarding and upskilling clinical team members.What You’ll DoTraining & CoachingDeliver hands-on, practical skills training using approved competency-based methodsAssess and validate Medical Assistant competencies for new hires, transfers, and team members needing additional supportConduct center and department onboarding and orientationFacilitate workshops and serve as backup for classroom-based training as neededComplete training documentation and competency assessments using approved digital toolsConduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins to support learner confidence and readinessCollaborate closely with Training Specialists and Learning Leaders to continuously improve training programsClinical & Operational SupportTravel within the assigned market to support centers and new hiresWork operational shifts when training activities are not scheduledSupport providers, radiologic technologists, and patients through clinical and administrative dutiesPerform patient intake, vitals, point-of-care testing, and exam room preparationAssist with patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and follow-up callsMaintain supplies, inventory, equipment logs, and quality control documentationWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentTraining, coaching, or teaching experienceExperience using Electronic Health Records (EHR)Strong communication, organization, and presentation skillsWillingness to travel and work a flexible schedulePreferred QualificationsGraduate of a Medical Assistant programOne or more years of Medical Assistant experience under a licensed healthcare supervisorUrgent care or fast-paced clinical environment experienceCertification RequirementsOne of the following certifications is requiredCMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, or ARMAAccepted in lieu of MA certification at time of hire:LPN or RNEMTCNAAdditional RequirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within required timeframe)Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) certification if required by roleState-specific MA credentialing requirements apply where applicableWhy You’ll Love Working HereMake a direct impact on patient experience by shaping clinical excellencePlay a key role in developing and mentoring Medical AssistantsPartner with passionate clinical, learning, and operations leadersBe part of a mission-driven organization focused on growth, innovation, and community careSet up email alerts as new job postings become available that meet your interest!If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
