Military Veterans Encouraged to Apply.\nJob Description:\nNDi is seeking an experienced Network Project Manager (Network Management Support) with extensive experience in an IT environment. The Project Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing project lifecycle activities which include but are not limited to project initiation, planning, execution, deliverables, and closure. The role requires initiating required actions to achieve project objectives and ensuring that all project activities align with FAA IT Services project management guidelines and standards.\nRequirements:\nU.S Citizenship required.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance\nThis position is 5/days onsite in Washington, DC.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification.\nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degree (engineering, math, and science related degrees are considered acceptable alternative degrees).\nA minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.\nStrong understanding of project management methodologies and standards.\nAbility to effectively lead and manage multiple priority projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication and reporting skills.\nProven experience in project management within IT infrastructure, data center operations, and storage solutions.\nStrong knowledge and experience in network infrastructure management and program management.\nProficiency with industry-standard hardware and software for network management.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the planning, development, and implementation of various infrastructure projects related to the successful operation, administration, and modernization of the FAA's network systems and services. This includes support for LANs, WANs, wireless infrastructure, FAA Cloud Services (FCS), colocation facilities, and FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI)/FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS).\nDefine project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.\nCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.\nEnsure resource availability and allocation to project tasks.\nDevelop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.\nCreate and manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring projects are completed on time.\nIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.\nMonitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating appropriately when necessary.\nManage approved changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.\nAct as the primary point of contact for project communications.\nProvide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.\nConduct project reviews and obtain approvals from senior management.\nManage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial constraints and objectives.\nMonitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.\nMaintain comprehensive project documentation.\nPrepare and present detailed reports on project status, achievements, and any deviations from the plan.\nEnsure all projects comply with FAA regulations and standards.\nProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.\nCompensation and Benefits:\nAt NDi, we value our team and are committed to retaining top talent by offering competitive benefits and compensation packages.
