IREN's vertically integrated platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and data centers in renewable-rich regions across the U.S. and Canada.The Project Cost Analyst is responsible for the full life-cycle financial controls of large-scale data center and hyperscale infrastructure construction projects across West Texas and Oklahoma. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, this role serves as the financial backbone of active capital programs — maintaining project budgets, managing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) coding, analyzing spend and cash flow variances, and leading Capex funding requests from inception through approval. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on construction finance experience and the ability to partner cross-functionally with project managers, procurement, finance, and executive leadership.With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our own data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance computer. Equivalent experience considered.3–6 years of project controls or cost engineering experience on large-scale capital construction projects ($50M+).Demonstrated experience maintaining project budgets, WBS structures, and managing Capex approval workflows.Proficiency with cost management or PMIS platforms (Oracle Primavera P6/EPPM, SAP, Procore, e-Builder, or similar).Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financialmodeling); Power BI or Tableau a plus.Solid understanding of construction contracts (GMP, lump sum, IDIQ), change order management, and cost-at-completion forecasting.PMI-SP, AACE CCP, CEP, or PSP certification, or active pursuit thereof.Experience with Earned Value Management and EVM reporting systems.Job ResponsibilitiesGovern the project cost baseline, WBS coding, and weekly reconciliation of commitments vs. actuals across all cost systems.Produce cash flow models, rolling forecasts, EAC reports, and executive-ready variance dashboards integrating schedule and cost data.Own the end-to-end AFE and Capex authorization process — from package preparation through board-level sign-off and lender draw support.Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit readiness throughout the project lifecycle.Job BenefitsAt IREN, we offer a  comprehensive, market-competitive total rewards package designed to support employees’ well-being, career advancement, and financial wealth.
