You'll have the opportunity to grow our Safety and Sustainability Culture, influencing the mindset of associates, peers, and even leadership in meaningful, uplifting ways\nRequired Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, Environment Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent, preferred.\n3 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nHas or willing to work towards, an auditing certification.\nPreferred Qualifications Experience leading EHS projects and teams\nKnowledge and Skills Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with people at all levels and in various functions including technical staff, business team leaders, and union personnel.\nEffective skills in the areas of counseling, coaching, and influencing.\nDemonstrate understanding of federal and state safety and environmental laws.\nThe ability to identify and evaluate workplace hazards and environmental issues.\nAbility to work in a diverse team environment including interactions with technical staff, operation leaders, and contract personnel.\nAbility to lead a project or technical team and lead teams virtually.\nAbility to challenge the organization in a manner that maintains trust and respect.\nAbility to build business partnerships across and between functional groups.\nAbility to accept and respond to changes and challenges in a positive manner.\nDemonstrated capability to analyze problems and provide accurate solutions.\nCritical thinking skills and the ability to constructively resolve conflicts.\nHigh energy and passion for excellence, adaptability, resilience, and taking action.\nKnowledge of standard computer programs and databases (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nWe require a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations.\nFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID‑19.
