The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.\n\n Wage/Salary Range: $25.59 per hr.\n\nApplicants will be notified via email or phone within ten business days regarding application status.\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n\nLoads and unloads HAZMAT materials onto and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding and ropes are used to prevent damage\nConducts periodic reviews of all facilities on a quarterly basis\nEnsure that all HAZMAT coordinators forward copies of training certificates / class rosters to the COR\nEnsure the material inventory quarterly report is completed and submitted to the P2 Division\nEnsure all hazardous material storage locations, cabinets, lockers, and rooms are identified, approved and in good working order.\nEnsure required initial report of spill forms for all spills that occur in coordinator’s area of control\n\nRequired (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications\n\nEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent\nLevel of Experience Requirements:\nFive to seven (5-7) years facility maintenance experience\nThirty (30) hours OSHA safety class or equivalent within the past three (3) years\nMust be able to follow basic safety procedures\nMust be able to follow verbal directions\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics\n\nAbility to manage multi-state departments and employees\nKnowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company.\nBasic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software.\nKnowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally.\nKnowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information.\nCommunication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally.\nTime management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.\nProblem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions.\nInterpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others.\nAttention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work.\n\nPreferred\n\nHAZMAT experience with the DoD preferred.\n\nNecessary Physical Requirements\n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Employees must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.
