Blacklock Group are partnered with a strong, middle market, private equity firm who are looking for a Vice President to join their dynamic team.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market analysis and networkingLead due diligence processes, including financial modeling, industry research, and competitive analysisDevelop and present detailed investment proposals to the Investment CommitteeOversee the structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactionsCoordinate with legal, financial, and operational advisors to ensure seamless deal executionEstablish and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company management teamsMonitor and enhance the performance of portfolio companiesWork closely with management teams to drive strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and value creationPrepare and present performance updates to internal stakeholders and investorsMentor and develop junior investment professionals, providing guidance on deal processes and career developmentFoster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the teamQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related sectorDemonstrated success in sourcing, evaluating, and executing private equity transactionsStrong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationshipsProven leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior team membersIn-depth knowledge of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapesHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellenceCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonusesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchGenerous vacation and paid time offOpportunities for professional development and continuous learning
