Interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance. Measures, inspects, tests and verifies machined parts for conformance to specifications. Creates CMM programs manually or from CAD Solid Works. Provides support to manufacturing and management as needed.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupports First Piece, In-Process, Final, and F.A.I. Inspections.\nReads blueprints or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.\nVerifies specified dimensions of product or raw material using verniers, micrometers, intramics, CMM, height gages, comparator, scales and or/other tools.\nMeasures angular dimensions, radii, height, thickness, location, thread lead, and other specifications.\nMeasures surface finish of parts.
