With over 15 years of success in commercial and industrial construction, this company is growing and needs an experienced PM who can own projects end-to-end — from pre-construction through close-out — while building strong client and trade partner relationships. If you thrive in a performance-driven environment, know steel construction inside and out, and want to work on meaningful projects with a team that gets things done.Anticipate $90,000–$110,000+ depending on experienceFull suite of benefits, PTO/VacationLocation: On-site in the Palm Beach, FL area; up to 25% travel to project sitesRole:Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans for structural steel and metal construction projectsCoordinate pre-construction activities including shop drawing reviews, submittals, and RFIsReview and negotiate project contracts, supplier agreements, and subcontractor scopes of workMonitor and control project costs; prepare progress reports and manage change ordersLead, mentor, and support site superintendents, foremen, and field crewsServe as the primary client contact and manage relationships with GCs, engineers, estimators, and other project stakeholdersEnforce OSHA and company safety standards across all job sitesConduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirementsOversee project close-out including punch lists, final inspections, and warranty documentationPreferred Experience/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredPMP certification a plus10+ years of project management experience in commercial and/or industrial constructionDeep knowledge of structural steel design, fabrication, and erection practicesAbility to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications independentlyProficiency in MS Project, Planner, Bluebeam, or equivalent PM toolsStrong understanding of OSHA and construction safety standardsExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressureKEYWORDS Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Structural Steel, Metal Fabrication, Steel Erection, Commercial Construction, Industrial Construction, OSHA, Shop Drawings, Submittals, RFI, Change Orders, Bluebeam, MS Project, PMP, Palm Beach, Lake Worth, Florida Construction, Specialty Contractor, Construction Management, Field Operations
