Additional, support the creation of Machining Fixture Aids and Set-Up Documentation to ensure that a compliant part is manufactured, meeting both specifications and requirements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nCreate CNC Programs 3 and 4 axis CNC equipment, utilize Vericut and simulation software to prove out G-Code to avoid collisions/ crashes.\nUse best programming techniques for optimum approaches and cycle times. Request support if needed.\nPrepare set-up sheets / documentation for each project.\nWell organized programming folders.\nSupport machinist as needed on the Shop Floor with Edits and select feeds and speeds.\nReview Post Processed G code, upload and save CNC proven programs, from and to the equipment.\nReview Blueprints / Models and GD&T tolerances, while programming and selecting proper tools.\nDesign and create machining fixture Aids required to machine the part.\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh School,Trade School Certification or College preferred\n1 to 5 years’ experience in A&D environment required\nMust have 3+ years’ experience in 3-4 axis CNC Programming for a Level I position\nCATIA V5 , Hypermill Feature Cam, programming preferred\nKnowledge of Vericut software a plus\nKnowledge of Okuma OSP 300; Fanuc i31: Mazatrol; Siemens 840D controllers\nMinimum 5 years’ experience setting up CNC Machines\nMust have a basic understanding of GD&T, Blueprint reading\nTime Management and Organization “own the project assigned from start to finish”\nSupport Production by following processes and procedures\nCommunicate and collaborate with Engineers and Machinist as needed\nFamiliarity with AS9100 rev D\nMicrosoft proficiency (Word, Excel )\nCapable of adhering to internal Quality of Business Management Systems procedures\nAbility to speak/read/write English\nMust have a can do attitude and be professional, strive for continuous improvement\nPerform other duties, as needed\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nOffice/Programming cubicles, plus Machine Shop environment\nFast paced, people and parts movement\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to medium\nUse of Personal Protective Equipment is always required in the Machine Shop\nSALARY RANGE:\nBase Salary Range (Inglewood only): $ 27.00 - $ 32.00 /hr\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:\nThere are typically no travel requirements for this position (0%)\nNOTES: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this position's employee(s).
