This position reports to the Finance Manager of Subsea Projects in Houston, TX\n\nJob Description\nDefine administrative and finance structure of projects, as assigned, up to $1.5B USD\nAccountable to manage multiple complex projects at any given time\nSupervise the contractual financial terms of the project during execution\nCoordinate project financial management during project execution\nProvide forecasts (revenue/gross margin), collaborating closely with providers if needed\nOwnership of the EAC (estimate at completion) review and maintenance for accurate reporting\nMonitor and verify accurate postings to responsible projects\nMonitor and verify accurate revenue recognition\nMaintain project financial health during life of project\nCommunicate with auditors, both internal and external\nMonitor project invoicing and collections\nParticipate in month-end, and quarter-end closing\nCompletion of quarterly financial deliverables\nCompletion of ad-hoc deliverables as needed\n\nYou are meant for this job if:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; or equivalent years of work experience\nMinimum of 5+ years’ experience in Finance or Project Controlling within an ERP system with projects greater than $500k USD\nWorking knowledge of Percentage of Completion (POC) revenue recognition principles\nWorking knowledge of Accounting and Financial principles and concepts, including US GAAP and IFRS\nWorking knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)\nExperience in SAP or similar ERP system\nAbility to work independently or as part of a team\nAbility to solve complex and non-recurring problems independently\nCritical thinking skills\nMeticulous\nStrong troubleshooting skills\nDisciplined with the ability to meet strict deadlines\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nExperience working with cross-functional teams and contributing to team performance\nAdvanced PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products\nContribution to improvement initiatives\n\nBeing a global leader in the energy industry requires an inclusive and diverse environment.
