This position moves, stores, fills requests for material movement, loads & unloads freight, etc. of products efficiently and safely according to the production schedule.\nPOSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nTo be successful in this role, an individual must be able to perform in a satisfactory manner the functions/responsibilities listed below. The company will measure an employee’s performance in part on how well he or she fulfills them. The list is not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned. The company will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions/ responsibilities.\nEssential Functions\nDemonstrated proficiency on specialized material handling equipment\nMake material movements based on orders according to work ticket instructions.\nUnload, store, move, adjust, etc. any and all raw materials according to instructions.\nTrack all material movements with current technology for accurate reporting & inventory management.\nStore, move, adjust, etc. any and all in-process materials and goods according to instructions.\nAppropriately package and seal products.\nStore, move, adjust, etc. and load any and all finished goods, packaged products, and materials onto delivery trucks and or freight trucks.\nDiligently maintain material handling equipment according to Preventive Maintenance Program.\nStart up, operate, and shut down processing equipment and machinery.\nMaintain a clean and organized work station.\nSECONDARY FUNCTIONS\nAssist MFG Supervisor in tracking and maintaining inventory.\nNotify the Department Team Leader of problems with equipment, devices, or products.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.\nHigh school diploma or GED is required.\nPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred.\nDemonstrated proficiency and abilities with specialized material handling equipment and packages up to 26’ in length (articulating arm forklift).\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
