In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and evolving enterprise business applications while delivering scalable, high-performance solutions for mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to translate complex business requirements into maintainable, high-quality technical solutions.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, and modern UI frameworks\r\nMaintain and enhance existing applications, frameworks, and shared libraries\r\nDesign and implement new features aligned with business processes and workflows\r\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support\r\nEnsure compliance with security, performance, and architectural standards\r\nContribute to modernization initiatives, including framework evolution and technical debt reduction\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality solutions\r\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nProficiency in .NET / .NET Core, C#\r\nExperience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and ORM best practices\r\nProven ability to design and build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures\r\nStrong SQL experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including query optimization and indexing\r\nProficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, and CSS3\r\nExperience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular strongly preferred; React or Vue acceptable)\r\nFamiliarity with authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT)\r\nExperience with Git-based version control (GitHub, Azure DevOps)\r\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\r\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities\r\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively\r\n5 years of experience in full-stack or enterprise application development\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with Angular and component-based UI architecture\r\nFamiliarity with UI frameworks such as Angular Material or Bootstrap\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)\r\nExposure to Docker and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)\r\nExperience with microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures\r\nKnowledge of API gateways and service orchestration\r\nFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end)\r\nUnderstanding of secure coding practices and enterprise security standards\r\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot\r\nExposure to AI/ML integration or interest in AI-driven development workflows\r\nPrior experience in insurance, underwriting systems, or complex business-rule environments\r\nExperience supporting legacy system modernization initiatives\r\nWork Environment & Location\r\nLocation: Hybrid (Schaumburg, IL – onsite 4 days/week expected)\r\nTravel: Minimal\r\nCollaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth\r\nEncore Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
