At Badger Meter, your contributions will ripple far beyond the workplace - creating lasting change for people and the planet.\n\nWhat You Will Contribute:\n\nThe Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with municipal and utility accounts within a designated region, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.\n\nThis role requires frequent, strategic visits to existing and prospective accounts to drive sales growth and increase market share for the company's SmartCover product line. The Account Manager will work closely with alliance partners and manage authorized distributors within the assigned territory.\n\nCandidates must reside in the Midwest territory to best serve the needs of the customers.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nDevelop and achieve sales targets for SmartCover remote monitoring and control systems and utility solutions.\n\nConduct promotional efforts to secure new accounts, enhance existing accounts and introduce customer the latest solutions. Participate in regional trade shows and national conventions and assist in staffing as needed.\n\nKeep municipal and utility accounts informed on product updates and developments. Provide outstanding customer support throughout all stages of the sales process.\n\nSubmit regular reports on territory penetration, competitive intelligence, and market insights through CRM, ensuring all departments have the necessary information to meet objectives.\n\nPartner with Sales Manager to improve operational efficiency, enhance product development and ensure customer satisfaction.
