The work location is in our Dallas/Fort Worth office.\nResponsibilities:\n- Lead the Dallas office in the implementation of our Design Technology Strategy, with a focus on BIM and Autodesk Revit excellence\n\nSupport projects extensively, developing BIM implementation plans, startup methods, and workflow strategies, especially for major aviation projects\nDemonstrate leadership in Revit/BIM model management, ensuring model integrity, and facilitating using Revit detail and family libraries across projects\nEnforce PGAL Revit standards and practices to maintain consistency and quality in all projects\nTroubleshoot Revit/BIM application issues and conduct training sessions to enhance staff proficiency in BIM applications\nCoordinate BIM implementation across projects\nEnsure that project teams follow BIM standards\nFacilitate collaboration among architects, engineers, and contractors\nAssist in model coordination and clash detection\nOrganize and maintain digital project documents and data\nControl document versions and revisions\nFacilitate document access and retrieval for project stakeholders\nEnsure compliance with document control best practices\nNavisworks Clash Detection/Model Coordination\nSupporting project teams while enforcing Revit “modeling best practices”\nReview Revit “warnings” to help keep model problems to a minimum\nExporting Data for other disciplines and/or consultants (AutoCAD backgrounds, Navisworks, exports, etc.)\nEnd User Support/Troubleshooting\nRevit Content Creation (general library or project-specific families)\nInternal Revit Training\nCreating or contributing to the creation of in-house BIM Standards (along with the appropriate technical staff)\nUpdate in-house BIM Standards as necessary (living document model)\nRevit Model Migration – moving Revit models to the newest version while verifying their integrity and completeness.\nInvestigate and test new Revit add-ons and other BIM/IPD technologies\nCreate Revit models based upon Point Cloud Scan Data\nCreate “as-built “Revit models from 2d legacy/owner drawings to be used as reference\nInformation or starting points for project teams\nCreation and/or maintenance of Revit project templates and BIM Execution plans\nPerform the initial Revit model setup for each project\nAttend meetings as your organization’s “BIM Expert” to help ensure that everyone understands the firm’s BIM process\nLead relevant “Tips and Tricks” and “Lessons Learned” to the firm\nOverall, CAD Support (including the support of legacy CAD packages)\nQualifications:\n- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an architectural design firm, with a focus on BIM and Autodesk Revit\n\nBachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited university\nDeep knowledge of Autodesk Revit and experience with BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud, emphasizing project workflows\nProven track record of managing model integration across multiple design teams and offices\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship\nProficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks)\nProject coordination, collaboration, and knowledge of BIM standards and practices\nProficiency in document management software\nAttention to detail and organizational skills\nKnowledge of document control standards\nCommunication and collaboration abilities\nPGAL offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) and profit sharing.
