This role will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across engineering, manufacturing, mission operations, and corporate functions.\nThis is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys building talent pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions. You will play a critical role in scaling the organization by delivering a world-class candidate experience while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.\nThis role is open to contract only with eligibility to convert.\nWhere You'll Make an Impact\nManage full-cycle recruiting across a variety of technical and business functions, including engineering, manufacturing, program management, and operations\nPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and candidate profiles\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates through multiple channels\nBuild and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs\nManage candidate communications and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process\nConduct candidate screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring teams\nAdvise hiring managers on market trends, talent availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting best practices\nMeet recruiting metrics expectations, pipeline activity, and hiring progress\nSupport employer branding initiatives to strengthen Quantum Space's visibility within the aerospace and engineering communities\nRepresent Quantum Space at industry events, career fairs, university recruiting events, and networking opportunities\nWhat It Takes\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical recruiting\nProven success recruiting engineers and other highly specialized technical talent\nExperience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leaders\nStrong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse ATS, and other recruiting platforms\nAbility to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment\nExcellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities\nAbility to operate independently while collaborating effectively across teams\nPassion for delivering a high-quality candidate experience\nNice-to-Have Experience\nExperience recruiting within aerospace, defense, space, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or other highly technical industries\nExperience supporting hiring in startup or high-growth environments\nExperience recruiting candidates requiring security clearances or working within export-controlled environments\nKnowledge of compensation benchmarking and talent market trends\nWhat You'll Get\nOwnership – Direct impact on building the team that will shape the future of space mobility\nImpact – Partner closely with executive leadership, hiring managers, and technical teams across the organization\nInnovation – Build creative sourcing strategies and talent pipelines that connect exceptional people with the groundbreaking work driving the future of space mobility\nGrowth – Opportunity to help scale a rapidly growing space company and influence recruiting strategy\nCompensation – Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, generous leave, HSA, 401(k) matching, and equity sharing\nLocation: Rockville, MD or Hawthorne, CA\nHourly Range: $70 - 80/hr\n\nThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors.
