In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for the planning, execution, and delivery of a complex program portfolio, ensuring successful outcomes while meeting client objectives, schedule commitments, budget requirements, and quality standards.\n\nThe successful candidate will work closely with client stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and project teams to coordinate activities, manage risks, and support strategic decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.\n\nRole Accountabilities\n\nThe Program Manager will be responsible for delivering complex programs and projects while managing diverse stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and multiple service providers.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nProvide overall program leadership and oversight to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.\nManage program scope, schedule, budget, risks, and performance metrics.\nCoordinate and collaborate with client leadership, project teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.\nEstablish and maintain governance structures, reporting processes, and program controls.\nDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance reporting to support informed decision-making.\nLead risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution activities.\nFacilitate communication among stakeholders and support consensus-building across diverse groups.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.\nOversee consultant and contractor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.\nPrepare executive-level reports, presentations, and program updates for client and leadership teams.\nSupport strategic planning initiatives and continuous improvement efforts throughout the program lifecycle.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program/project management certification preferred.\nMinimum of 10 years of experience managing large, complex programs or projects.\nDemonstrated experience with program management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.\nStrong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and performance management.\nExperience developing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.\nProven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and service providers.\nExperience working with public-sector clients, government agencies, or municipal programs is highly preferred.\nExperience overseeing facilities, infrastructure, capital improvement, or operational programs is preferred.\nConsulting experience is preferred.\n\nWhy Arcadis?\n\nWe can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
