This role is essential for ensuring efficient aircraft maintenance operations by providing necessary parts and equipment when and where they're needed.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSafely operate company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.) to transport aircraft parts and equipment, including potentially large and sensitive items.\nEnsure proper loading, securing, and unloading of parts to prevent damage during transit.\nVerify accuracy of parts deliveries against invoices and other documentation, obtaining appropriate signatures and noting discrepancies.\nCommunicate with cross functional teams internally and other personnel regarding delivery status, delays, and other relevant information.\nInspect straps and ratchets for serviceability.\nOperate Forklift to load and unload equipment.\nOperate vehicle in accordance with federal and local regulations.\nOperate vehicle within the customer facilities including inside the SIDA area.\nAccurately document the pick- up and delivery of material on receipt books and turn in to meet customer needs and delivery times.\nService the vehicle with Fuel, DEF and Oil as required.\nInspect and operate company and customer forklift in accordance with OSHA and company procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent GED\n1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience.\nValid Driver License.\nMust be able to pass a DOT Physical.\nAbility to obtain airport (SIDA) security access.\nClean Driving Record.\nAbility to exercise good judgement.\nKeen attention to detail.\nAbility to work unsupervised.\nAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions Ability to Walk, Sit, Stand, Drive, operate ratchet straps and carry heavy items for extended periods.\nKnowledge of the following regulations: DOT, Driving Laws, and OSHA.\nAbility to effectively communicate at all levels.
