{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c2e6caaa086fe5ebd56bfcfd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2e6caaa086fe5ebd56bfcfd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2e6caaa086fe5ebd56bfcfd","title":"Mechanical Engineer","description":"Mechanical Engineer / Project Coordinator – Maitland, FL\nIn this role, you will be part of the Mechanical team of the Entertainment, Hospitality and Healthcare sector, based in Maitland, Florida.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nRevit or CAD proficient with working in 3D models\n\nPrepare/ Review HVAC calculations for loads\n\nThorough knowledge of Mechanical and energy codes\n\nEdit specifications to reflect the project requirements\n\nDevelop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases\n\nSelect and schedule equipment\n\nMeet with vendors to determine specification requirements for application\n\nCoordinate with other disciplines (mepfp, arch, struct, etc)\n\nRespond to RFIs for the project, and accurately review submittals\n\nApply risk management procedures daily to minimize exp’s and client’s exposure to problems\n\nUnderstand MEP/FP work planning and manage design process to the available hours in work plan\n\nUnderstand proper scope of MEP/FP SD, DD, CD level documents – and deliver appropriate documentation\n\nWork with project coordinator and Clients to meet scheduled project milestones of multiple projects\n\nManage and deliver revisions (ASI’s, etc) and sketches according to proper numbering convention\n\nEdit and develop scope of work narratives (SD narrative, basis of design, etc)\n\nMarket Sector – Understands specific engineering requirements for applications within a market sector\n\nUnderstand and properly provide existing exp details relevant to projects\n\nBe able to direct and mentor Designer level staff on all of their responsibilities on a daily basis\n\nPerform at a ‘responsible charge’ level;
