As a Purchasing Specialist, you will support our business by managing vendor relationships, preparing contracts, ensuring compliance, and providing training that supports our day-to-day purchasing operations. In this role, Purchasing Specialists serve as a trusted resource for both our Preferred Partners and internal teams.Job ResponsibilitiesOnboard new Preferred Partners by preparing contracts and guiding them through each stepTrain partners on our processes and tools, including the Weekley Partner HubKeep contract documents organized, updated, and routed to the right teamsCollect required waiver/lien releasesResearch and resolve variance issues with accuracy and urgencyAssist partners with payment questions and job reassignmentsCreate extra orders, back-charges, and returns as neededPlace and follow up on orders to ensure timely deliveryProvide information to support rebate submissions for our National Strategic Sourcing TeamPrepare weekly and monthly reportsTrack starts, communicate updates, and help manage changes throughout the processQualificationsPrior experience in purchasing, construction operations, vendor coordination, or a related administrative role is preferredProven organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and follow-throughProfessional communication skills with experience collaborating across teamsAdditional InformationWhat We Offer:Come build your future with our winning team, recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" 20 times!
