About UsZero Tolerance for Domestic Abuse (0T4DA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic abuse. Through education, awareness, advocacy, retreats, and free counseling services, we help survivors rebuild their lives and find hope and healing. We currently serve survivors throughout Jefferson and Gilpin Counties. Position OverviewZero Tolerance for Domestic Abuse is seeking a creative and dependable volunteer Board Member to help strengthen our social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of survivors and wants to use their communication and marketing skills to support a meaningful cause. This position requires approximately 2–4 hours per month and can be performed remotely. ResponsibilitiesCreate and schedule engaging social media content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms as appropriate Help promote nonprofit programs, events, fundraisers, retreats, volunteer opportunities, and awareness campaigns Maintain a consistent voice and brand across social media channels Share relevant educational content related to domestic abuse awareness, prevention, healing, and survivor support Monitor engagement and respond to comments or messages when appropriate Collaborate with board members and volunteers to highlight organizational successes and community impact Attend monthly board meetings and provide brief updates on social media activities Attend scheduled 0T4DA events Desired QualificationsExperience with social media platforms and content creation Strong written communication skills Basic graphic design experience Passion for supporting survivors and advancing the mission of 0T4DA Ability to work independently and meet occasional deadlines Dependable What You'll GainThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic abuse survivors Experience serving on a nonprofit board (no previous experience needed) The satisfaction of helping a growing organization expand its reach and community impact If you are interested in using your talents to support survivors and strengthen our community, we would love to hear from you.
