The successful candidate must demonstrate strong\n\ncommunication, project collaboration and teamwork.\n\nResponsibilities Include\n\nParticipating on project teams as needed for a variety of projects\nProviding support and/or project lead for planning, design and reporting on various transportation projects\nProviding construction oversight on various transportation projects\nProviding construction management on various transportation projects\n\nRequirements\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering\nEIT secured or ability to secure\nEntry level to five (5) years of experience on transportation projects including roadway rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, intersection design, traffic signal design, traffic studies and shared use path projects\nKnowledge of IDOT standards and procedures specifically as it relates to Phase I / Phase II design requirements and MFT requirements would be preferred\nExperience with MicroStation and traffic modeling software (such as Highway Capacity Software or Synchro) would be a plus\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nA valid driver’s license\nWillingness to embrace and align with EEI’s mission and core values.
