For more information, visit our website at www.lsbindustries.com.\nPosition Summary: EDC Ag Products, a subsidiary of LSB Industries, is looking to hire a Loader Tech to join our team. This position will be located in our Elkhart, TX location.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nMatches loading schedule to bill of lading.\nWeighs railcar/truck in prior to product transfer.\nFills out loading record.\nEnsures that truck/railcar is positioned and secured at proper loading rack.\nVisually inspects the railcar or truck to be involved in the upcoming transfer to ensure that it is mechanically sound and there is no defective equipment before loading or unloading.\nWear all protective clothing and equipment, including respirator and fresh air equipment that may be required to transfer the product in a manner that ensures maximum personal safety.\nConnects loading hoses.\nLoads railcar/truck according to loading instructions using gauges, loading meters, or weight.\nChecks weight of railcar/truck after loading to ensure that gross weight does not exceed regulations.\nCommunicates with facility supervisor on any problems as they occur.\nDisconnects loading arm/hose, inspect for any leaks and complete required paperwork prior to releasing the railcar/truck.\nOperates trac-mobile to move and position railcars for loading and shipment.\nRegularly cleans and maintains work areas.\nOperates fork-lift and other equipment as required if qualified.\nCompletes regular safety checks on machinery and equipment.\nComplete all required LMS training modules.\nCollects and submits all daily reports and paperwork and turns it in to the Board Operator.\nCompletes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.\nSkills/Qualifications:\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear, and have a good vision. Must be medically certified to use a full-face respirator while completing some job tasks.
