{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c2d3f24fbd8e2029fc91837f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2d3f24fbd8e2029fc91837f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2d3f24fbd8e2029fc91837f","title":"Assembler","description":"Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift)\nPay Rate: $18 to $20/HR\nDuration: 12 months\nLocation: Wendell, NC\nShift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (2nd shift)\nNote: Training will be done on the 1st shift (one to two months) prior to being moved to the 2nd shift.\nWe are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (2nd shift) who will be responsible for the building, assembling, and wiring of Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Solar Inverters.\nAssembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders\nPerform Sub-assembly work including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires\nRecord appropriate job record transactions\nRead BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings,\nPerform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested\nSet and correct use of Torque wrenches\nAdhere to developed processes, and methods and/or seek ways to improve\nMust adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others\nPerform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management\nRequirements:\nMust be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally\nCommunicate in English (read, write & speak fluently)\nMust have a proven record in Quality and Productivity\nMust be a strong team player\nConform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n1+ years of experience performing mechanical assembly or experience in the mechanical field\nForklift driver experience\nSAP experience\nAble to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components\nExperience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery-operated\nKnowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values\nExperience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.\nkits, and aftermarket parts orders\nPerform Sub-assembly work including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires\nRecord appropriate job record transactions\nRead BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings,\nPerform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested\nSet and correct use of Torque wrenches\nAdhere to developed processes, and methods and/or seek ways to improve\nMust adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others\nPerform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management\nJob Types: Full-time, Contract\nPay: $18.00 -
