Transparent. Simple.\n\nWhy this role matters\nCEHAS administers self-funded employee benefits for employers across the country — and implementation is where every one of those relationships is won or lost. When a group signs, you own their onboarding from executed agreement through their first successful payroll: building the plan correctly, coordinating the moving parts, and being the calm, reliable voice on the other end of the phone. You are the primary point of contact for brokers, employers, and plan sponsors during the exact window when they decide whether they trust us. This is not an entry-level seat — we’re looking for someone who already knows self-funded benefits and can walk into an implementation call with confidence on day one.\n\nWhat you’ll own\nOwn the onboarding, start to finish. Carry each new client group from executed agreement through their first successful payroll — nothing dropped between the handshake and go-live.\nBe the voice they count on. Serve as the primary contact for brokers, employers, and plan sponsors. Set expectations, send updates, and answer questions before they have to ask.\nBuild the plan correctly. Configure plan design, eligibility, and Section 125 provisions in our systems, and verify the details others miss — including 834 eligibility files.\nCoordinate the moving parts. Line up the behind-the-scenes setup with our Payroll, Finance, and IT teams so the first cycle lands right the first time.\nKeep the record clean. Maintain clear notes and status on every implementation, and hold strict confidentiality over protected health and payroll information.\nSteady them through the first cycles. Stay close after go-live until the group runs on its own — and hands you the trust that turns into the next referral.\nWho we’re looking for\nYou know the industry. Self-funded benefits, TPA operations, payroll, or brokerage — you have done this work and can speak to it credibly.\nYou’re great with people. Professional, warm, and steady — especially when a client is frustrated.\nYou’re genuinely careful. You catch the small stuff and follow through without being chased. In benefits, a typo is somebody’s claim.\nYou’re organized. Several clients, several deadlines, nothing falls through the cracks.\nYou communicate clearly. In writing and on a call.\nYou work independently.
