This role includes contributing to new development projects and improving current processes.\r\nThis role collaborates closely with Data and Software Engineers to enhance the platform as new features are developed.\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nDevelop new endpoints in a REST API serving a frontend application, ensuring they are performant and meet acceptance criteria.\r\nHelp establish new data sources for our pipeline using various data transfer methods, such as external APIs, SFTP files, or direct interactions with vendors.\r\nImplement consistent testing across APIs and build test cases to cover ETL processes.\r\nWork in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment and deliver incremental product software with high quality.\r\nSupport the development of highly scalable data management systems on AWS.\r\nExtend data models for databases by adding new fields or tables and create corresponding migrations to ensure smooth schema updates and data consistency.\r\nThis role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.\r\nNOTE : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employees may be asked to perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.\r\nRequested Education and Experience:\r\nExperience building applications or REST APIs with Python.\r\nProficiency in relational databases, preferably Postgres.\r\nExperience working with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.\r\nYou are a self-starter, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.\r\nInternally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.\r\nStrong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.\r\nStrong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.\r\nBachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field\r\nIt would be great if you have or are pursuing the following:\r\nAWS Certifications\r\nWe prefer that you have experience with:\r\nJIRA and Confluence\r\nFastAPI\r\nSQLAlchemy or another ORM\r\nAWS\r\nThis role is 100% remote eligible, with quarterly strategy meetings that are in-person.\r\nAt ClassLink, we believe diversity drives innovation and inclusion strengthens our community.
