The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:\r\nFunctional\r\nOversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management\r\nEnsures continued operational readiness of start-up initiative\r\nReviews, manages, proactively challenges, and controls status of the project's operations of programs and budgets\r\nManages schedules, and prepares status reports\r\nAssesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives\r\nDevelops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders\r\nEvaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems\r\nProvides oversight on the review and approval of work including modifications\r\nGuides and leads the team in achieving the goals of the program including issue identification, resolution and contingency planning\r\nOversees the maintenance of training and qualifications for personnel on assigned projects\r\nInterfaces with operations management and other disciplines, site personnel, and/or external organizations to meet project requirements\r\nJob Requirements\r\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent\r\n10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required\r\n4+ years of nuclear experience\r\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential\r\nWe are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
