Pickers Texarkana - General Manager
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
Complete goals, rocks, and key functions outlined in department VTO
Work schedule Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Monitor and stay within department budget
Ensure department has needed resources, communicate any issues
Conduct Daily Huddle, attend weekly Level 10, and Monthly Financials Meeting
Timely and accurate reporting of all scorecards and financial metrics.
Lead Pickers Team to meet and exceed budgeted goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
Sell used cars and mechanic special complete vehicles.
Timely coordination with HR Department for payroll, PTO, work related injuries, and all other HR matters.
Ensure the reliability of all equipment and coordinate with TSIMCO Maintenance department on preventative and reactive maintenance.
Maintain relationships with dealers of salvage vehicles.
Ensure the Pickers Way and all SOPs are being followed by all.
Manage tow driver and trip clock efficiency
Build and Maintain Team
Ensure team understands department VTO and individual roles
Monitor, communicate, and improve department performance
Meet individual team members’ needs
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment including hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility clothing, and gloves.
Ability to work standing up to 9 hours per day.
