We have offices in multiple cities across the US, UK, India, and Singapore, and a substantial remote global workforce.\nIf you are passionate about working on business problems that can be solved using structured and unstructured data on a large scale, Tiger Analytics would like to talk to you.\nWe are seeking experienced and hands-on software architects with a builders mindset, to lead the modernization, design and build of applications ranging from consumer facing digital applications with real time, high volume, low latency and embedded intelligence, to intelligent operations applications supporting critical decision making and operations used by a range of personas for AI first re-imagined processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead modernization initiatives, transforming legacy systems into cloud-native, scalable architectures\nDesign and architect API-first ecosystems, including RESTful and event-driven APIs\nBuild and optimize event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming platforms\nDefine and implement API gateways for routing, security, throttling, and monitoring\nArchitect high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems with strong resiliency\nDesign end-to-end full-stack solutions across frontend, backend services, APIs, and data layers\nEnsure strong security architecture, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and zero-trust principles\nDrive deployments across cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem/hybrid environments\nEnsure responsive, intuitive user experiences compatible with desktop and mobile platforms\nEstablish architecture standards, scalability patterns, and performance benchmark\n\nRequirements\n\n12+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and modernization\nStrong hands-on full-stack experience across modern frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, and databases\nProven experience building high-volume, transaction-heavy systems with strict latency requirements\nDeep expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, API management, and gateway design\nStrong experience with microservices architectures - react/angular, spring boot/nodejs/fastapi, nosql dbs, postgres, REST/graphql, Kafka, kubernetes, Okta, elastic, grafana, prometheus and similar tech.\nExperience with SRE techniques, such as chaos engineering, performance engineering, toil reduction, reliability engineering etc\nExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and resiliency patterns\nSolid experience in security architecture and compliance\nFamiliarity with real-time streaming technologies\nStrong stakeholder communication and cross-functional leadership skills\n\nBenefits\n\nSignificant career development opportunities exist as the company grows.
