{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c2c5b5bbf11c1af66cb273fc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2c5b5bbf11c1af66cb273fc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c2c5b5bbf11c1af66cb273fc","title":"Lease Operator","description":"Overview:\nThe position of Lease Operator is responsible for oil and gas well operations, well testing, operating and maintaining field equipment and facilities, surveillance of general field operations and maintenance of various databases regarding production and operations.\nResponsibilities:\nNon-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.\nTypes of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal.\nTypes of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).\nJob is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.\nDaily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.\nTest, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.\nPerform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.\nGeneral housekeeping and field maintenance.\nQualifications:\n1+ yrs. of Lease Operator experience required.\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required.\nValid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.\nMust be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.\nPhysical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment.
