If you’re a seasoned startup tech with supermarket experience, this is your next big moveTop-Tier Compensation & Perks$36.00–$58.00/hr starting wage + weekly pay + overtime$40/day per diem – all lodging and transportation paid by the companyFull benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, short & long-term disability401(k) with industry-leading 4% match when you contribute 6%PTO: Up to 20 days per year based on experience + paid holidaysYear-round stability – no seasonal layoffs or downtime What You’ll DoLead start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of commercial refrigeration systems (racks, cases, walk-ins, chillers)Supervise parallel rack evacuations and ensure pressure tests are completeEMS wiring & programming (CPC, Novar, Danfoss, etc.)Oversee retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades for utility programsRun small projects like case swaps, condenser changeouts, and gas conversionsMentor and guide junior techs and installersEnsure jobsite safety, quality, and on-time performance What You Bring4–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration start-up, EMS troubleshooting and installationLead tech experience managing installation crews a plus3+ years of experience with supermarket EMS systems; strong programming and wiring knowledge preferredExperience with CO2 and glycol refrigeration systemsAbility to read blueprints (refrigeration, electrical, plumbing)EPA Certification and TDLR preferredWillingness to travel and work overtime as neededA valid driver’s license and strong organizational skills Why Wood Air?We’re a trusted commercial HVAC and plumbing partner throughout Texas with a reputation for delivering excellence in service and installation.
