Procurement Buyer | Brooklyn, NY · $50,000–$65,000A luxury interior design firm working across healthcare and hospitality is looking for a highly organized Procurement Buyer to own the purchasing process from start to finish. You'll work closely with the design team to price out specs, manage vendor orders, and keep meticulous records across projects ranging from 10 to 500 items. This role is less about sourcing from scratch and more about precision, follow-through, and making sure every order lands on time and exactly to spec.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & PricingReceive design specs from the design team and price out products and alternativesPrepare proposals for client approval before purchasing beginsSource alternative options for items such as task chairs, accessories, and specialty productsProject & Order ManagementManage purchasing workflow across multiple concurrent luxury design projectsTrack purchase orders, payments, and delivery timelines to ensure accuracy and on-time arrivalCoordinate with vendors and manufacturers, including custom items with existing shop drawingsRecord KeepingMaintain detailed and organized records for all projectsEnsure all orders match approved specs and flag any discrepancies proactivelyQualificationsExceptional organizational skills — this is the most critical trait for success in this roleStrong computer skills and functional Excel proficiencyAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with a sharp eye for accuracyBackground in procurement, purchasing, or a related field is a plusInterested?
