As an equal-opportunity workplace and affirmative-action employer, we celebrate and support a diverse workplace for the benefit of all: our employees, customers and communities.ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities:Assists the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Manager in leading and managing the Mortgage Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure & Bankruptcy, Asset Management, and Property Preservation sections of the department, which includes, but not limited to:Personnel issues such as hiring, training, coaching, and disciplineConducting internal department audits to locate areas needing improvement and clearing exceptions to remain compliantPreparing work schedules and processes to expedite workflowDevelops, maintains and administers policies and procedures established and guided by the Bank, Investor, and/or regulatory agencies, to remain in complianceAddresses borrower complaints, escalations, and issues promptly, ethically, and fairly by following agency and Bank guidelines and proceduresCollaborates with other departments and branches to improve or develop effective practices, address needs and expand on opportunitiesConfirms all monthly department requirements are processed and approved, whether through conducting, oversight, or delegating, which includes, but is not limited to:Non-accrual placementReversing non-accrual placementCharge-offs and write-downsInvestor delinquency reportingGeneral ledger reconciliationsOther reports and process as requiredPerforms all collection and servicing duties as neededOther duties as assigned or directedMaintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensures ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meets all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashionQualificationsEducation, Training and Requirements:A.A. or A.S. degree requiredB.A. or B.S. degree strongly preferredBusiness field of study strongly preferredAll applicants must be 18 years of age or olderSkills:Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skillsExcellent mathematical skillsThorough knowledge of ExcelAble to demonstrate ability to analyze data from reports/workbooksProficient communicative skillsAbility to create, implement, and maintain workflows based on regulatory guidelinesHighly organized; results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiencyMust be collaborative, have the ability to adapt and reprioritize, and have an independently objective mindsetMust be able to consistently demonstrate the Company's core values: a strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency and humilityExperience:Minimum of four (4) years supervisory experience strongly preferred, two (2) years requiredSecondary to supervisory experience above, minimum of four (4) years in a finance, accounting, collection, loss mitigation, servicing real estate loans, legal, or real estate field preferredOther Job InformationHours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm). Nights and weekends as needed.Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
