Supervision of this responsibility will be delegated to the Sr. Risk Manager presently supervising the P&C Department’s Administrative Assistant team; percentage of time commitment to each role will vary based on fluctuating work-load demand.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in related field of study is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered\nThree to five years of experience as an administrative assistant to senior level managers, providing advanced level of support\n2 years’ experience in Insurance Industry (risk management, broker, insurance company) preferred • Accurate typing and data entry skills\nExcellent organization and communication (oral and written) skills\nHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and software used by the department\n\nTotal Rewards\nThe referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/ training and other qualifications.
