With the authority to drive operational excellence, financial success, and customer satisfaction, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the consistent execution of store operations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the District Manager leads and supports a team of store managers and delivers monthly district performance recaps.\r\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\r\nAdhere to the Company's established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.\r\nResponsible for recruiting and hiring management-level personnel and ensure stores are adequately staffed.\r\nManage multi-unit operations and personnel to maximize sales and profitability by promoting an effective team approach in a safe work environment that delivers quality customer service.\r\nEnsures that management coverage and store schedules are set per store labor model.\r\nManages team members fairly and consistently; holds team members accountable.\r\nTrains all management on proper order placement and procedures.\r\nTakes corrective action to prevent and resolve inventory losses caused by theft and accounting\r\nConducts safe fund audits Safety/Security and Compliance and ensures stores comply with all procedures.\r\nStrictly enforces all NACS robbery prevention and security protocols as defined by the company.\r\nServes as member of the Rapid Response Team to arrive on site during an incident involving injury.\r\nConducts gasoline and product price surveys as directed.\r\nReviews pricing and corrects pricing issues, specifically un-priced products.\r\nReviews and ensures that all promotional advertising is properly placed.\r\nPerform operational inspections on all locations and visit each location to ensure budgets and ensure store visits are completed so each location will meet individual budgets and company goals.\r\nAccompany auditors during monthly retail audits.\r\nResponsible for overall profitability of store locations including sales, gross profit dollars and margins, shrink, payroll, and expenses.\r\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\r\nStrong understanding of convenience store and restaurant business, general management\r\nAbility to write, analyze, and evaluate operating report, profit and loss statements\r\nAbility to relate to a diverse workforce and can effectively influence others throughout the organization\r\nStrong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are critical\r\nProficiency in MS Office\r\nAbility to work \"on-call\" schedule\r\nClean driving record\r\nExcellent communication skills\r\nEducation and Experience\r\nAt least two years of successful multi-unit store operation or equivalent experience in the industry\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\r\nWorking environment and physical requirements\r\nMust be able to lift 50 pounds at times.\r\nTravel\r\nMust be able to frequently travel to all locations within the district.\r\nAdditional travel up to 20%.\r\nAt-Will Employment\r\nThis position is at-will, which means that either the employee or the Company may terminate employment at any time, with or without advance notice, and with or without cause.\r\nEEO Statement\r\nRefuel is an equal opportunity employer to all applicants and team members.
