This is a great opportunity for someone with a science background who enjoys hands-on work, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and collaborating with multiple teams.\n\nNo minimum years of experience are required. If you have college-level science coursework or an associate degree in a related science field and are ready to build hands-on industry experience, we want to hear from you!\n\nWhat You'll Do\nManage inventory of laboratory consumables, reagents, chemicals, glassware, and other materials.\nReceive incoming materials and verify paperwork, quantities, and material condition.\nPrepare receiving documentation and maintain accurate inventory records.\nPack materials according to required shipping, handling, storage, and temperature conditions.\nPrepare shipping documentation and support DOT and HazMat compliance.\nCoordinate with laboratory, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure materials and resources are available when needed.\nHelp prevent operational delays by maintaining an efficient flow of materials.\nSafely handle, store, and transport laboratory and chemical materials.\nRespond to customer inquiries by email, phone, and in person.\nTroubleshoot operational issues and communicate updates to supervisors and team leads.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas.\nOperate material-handling equipment and relevant computer applications.\nComplete required safety, compliance, and equipment training, including PIT training.\nParticipate in cross-functional training and process improvement initiatives.\nSupport additional operational projects as needed.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or GED and one of the following:\nCompletion of college-level coursework in biological sciences and/or physical sciences, or\nAA/AS degree in a related science major.\nMaterial packing, handling, inventory management, warehouse, or similar experience is preferred.\nStrong customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and accuracy.\nGood problem-solving and interpersonal skills.\nKnowledge of safe chemical handling is helpful.\nLEAN or other Operational Excellence training or experience is a plus.\nValid California driver's license with a clean driving record.\nAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.\nAbility to work 40 hours per week with overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours as needed.\nWhy This Opportunity?\nCompetitive pay: $26.00 - $31.55 per hour\nNo minimum experience requirement\nGain hands-on experience supporting laboratory and materials operations\nWork with cross-functional scientific and operational teams\nBuild experience with GLP, DOT, HazMat, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material-handling processes\nInitial 4-month contract with the possibility of quarterly extensions for up to 3 years based on performance and business needs\nOpportunity to develop valuable experience in a highly regulated environment\nInterview Process\n\nQualified candidates will participate in one in-person panel interview with multiple interviewers.\n\nIf you're organized, safety-conscious, comfortable working in a hands-on environment, and ready to build experience at the intersection of science, materials, and operations, apply today!\n\nNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
