A successful candidate will exemplify the best in customer service, rigging technical operation, audiovisual production, and live event management. Execute all rigging technical aspects of a production. Work with PAV production managers and lead technicians interfacing directly with equipment, stagehands, and contract labor for events to ensure proper implementation of goods and services through the production process.\r\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include, but are not limited to…)\r\nAssist in the planning of and following the schedule of the daily flow of equipment to be prepped and de-prepped\r\nPull and prep all Rigging equipment for events and rentals\r\nReturns and de-prep/check in all equipment from events and rentals\r\nAssist with managing Rigging inventory for jobs (i.e. hardware, motors, and truss etc.)\r\nEnsure proper and safe rigging procedures are followed for all events\r\nInspects, maintains and repairs rigging hardware and equipment.\r\nAbility to load and unload trucks with warehouse equipment.\r\nAbility to operate software to scan equipment inbound/outbound for tracking purposes.\r\nWork with Operations staff to ensure assets required for event are available and ready for shipping\r\nAttend site checks as required.\r\nExcellent customer service skills, applied to external and internal customers equally.\r\nDeliver equipment to event sites via company vans and trucks. (Only as needed.)\r\nMaintains a clean and safe environment as it relates to warehouse spaces and loading locations.\r\nPerform safe loading of equipment into trucks and onto shelves.\r\nWorks with Warehouse manager on efficiency in the check-in and check-out process and flow of equipment throughout the warehouse\r\nDrive company provided vehicles that require DOT Medical Cards; based on comfort level.\r\nSPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS/KNOWLEDGE\r\nMust be organized, attentive to detail, persistent and demonstrate the ability to follow through projects to completion.\r\nCapable of handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.\r\nCapable of working with all levels of show management under minimal supervision.\r\nTechnical and Mechanical Aptitude\r\nComputer Hardware and Software Proficient\r\nAbility to manage and organize workflow in an event environment.\r\nAbility to run show from concept and implementation, to live show and load out.\r\nKnowledgeable and proficient in safety policies and procedures for live events industry and related fields.\r\nUnderstands safe rigging practices.\r\nFall protection and arrest equipment and procedures.\r\nKnowledge of Hoist maintenance and repair.\r\nAbility to read plots/schematics\r\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT\r\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
