Summer Grounds Maintenance

Seasonal Groundskeeper Opportunity Hord Farms is currently searching for seasonal groundskeepers to add to the landscaping crew! Candidates will have an opportunity for summer work--landscaping starting in the spring, assisting with mowing, landscaping, and various other jobs. A Day in the Life: As a summer grounds maintenance specialist, you will spend your days working outdoors helping maintain the properties. Typical responsibilities include: Mowing and weed removal Trimming shrubs and small trees Planting flowers and shrubs Watering lawns and landscaped areas Assisting with general grounds maintenance projects as needed What You Need: Experience driving a truck and trailer preferred Experience with maintenance of mowers and other landscaping equipment Superior attention to detail A valid driver's license + clean driving record are a must Ability to lift 50 lbs., sit, bend, reach, kneel, stoop for extended periods of time Flexibility in the work schedule. Generally, you will work 35-40 hours/week, but start and end times/hours each day may vary based on workload and weather No contact with pigs outside the Hord herd Your Rewards: Competitive wages
