This role works closely with senior implementation staff to ensure accurate data entry, system setup, and client communication throughout the process. The ideal candidate has hands-on payroll processing experience, familiarity with iSolved, and strong attention to detail, but does not need prior end-to-end implementation ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Onboarding & SetupAssist with gathering and reviewing client information for payroll setup.Enter employee demographic, payroll, and year-to-date data into iSolved.Configure basic payroll settings under guidance from senior team members.Support parallel payroll runs to verify accuracy of earnings, deductions, and taxes.System Configuration & Data EntryAssist in setting up benefits, tax filing, and timekeeping modules.Work with team members to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements.Help with balancing tax accounts prior to client go-live.Client Communication & SupportCommunicate with clients to request missing information or clarify data needs.Provide basic system navigation training to new users.Escalate complex questions or issues to senior implementation staff.Collaboration & CoordinationPartner with Account Managers, Payroll Specialists, and other internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions.Maintain accurate and organized records in workflow management tools.Required Skills & Experience2+ years payroll experience (multi-state preferred).Experience with iSolved HCM platform (user-level experience required; setup/configuration a plus).Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.Basic understanding of payroll tax principles.Proficient in Microsoft Office; Google Workspace experience preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a Payroll Service Bureau (PSB) environment.Exposure to payroll system implementation or onboarding processes.Familiarity with Process Street workflow management software.Core CompetenciesDetail-oriented and organized in managing multiple onboarding tasks.Resourceful and proactive in solving basic issues.Able to follow structured processes while meeting deadlines.Comfortable in a performance-driven environment.Benefits401(k) and retirement planHealth, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous PTO planThis role is full-time and fully remote, but you must be available via phone 8:30am–5:00pm CST and able to work flexible hours during peak season.
