MIG Welder - 2nd Shift
Job DescriptionJob Store Staffing is seeking a MIG Welder for our client in Colorado Springs!This is a hands-on role for an experienced sheet metal MIG Welder who takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with thin gauge materials, interpreting shop drawings, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production setting. If you are detail-oriented and enjoy fabrication work, we would love to hear from you!Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-12:00amOvertime may be required, including weekendsPay Rate: $20-23/hourDuration: Long term temporary, with possibility of permanent hireESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components and assembliesWeld thin gauge steel and stainless steel materials while maintaining quality and minimizing distortionRead and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructionsFit, tack, and assemble sheet metal parts to specificationUse hand and power tools such as grinders, clamps, measuring devices, and layout toolsInspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and appearanceTroubleshoot minor welding equipment issues and make basic adjustments as neededAccurately complete production paperwork, travelers, and inspection checklistsMaintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standardsFollow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPEMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:2+ years of experience as a welder (preferably in industrial setting)Must be able to pass a weld testAbility to read blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbolsFamiliarity with measuring tools and basic fabrication mathExperience working with carbon steel and stainless steelStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality weldsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMeet Your RecruiterAmanda JensenRecruiting Manager- Colorado SpringsThis is Amanda, the Recruiting Manager for the Colorado Springs branch.
