They will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will assist in completing a wide variety of tasks from purchasing parts to collecting cost data to maintaining KPI information. This position requires flexibility and willingness to do a wide range of tasks that may be outside the scope of the position but still within the responsibilities of the maintenance department.\nWhy work at MCC:\nCompensation: $30.00 per hour\nDay Shift - 7:00AM to 3:00PM M-F\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)\nPaid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays\nResponsibilities:\nOrganize and maintain parts inventory for all parts in stock, ensuring that stock levels do not fall below required levels\nCommunicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status, delivery times and availability\nProcess returns of defective parts, arranging replacements and ensuring company receives a credit for all returned parts\nShop best price and availability of parts from a variety of vendors\nFind ways to source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufactures\nMaintain daily PO spreadsheet\nProcess invoices for payment, issue PO numbers through Radius Program and work with accounts payable to resolve any vendor issues\nKeep management updated on lead times and any supply chain issues\nMaintain the parts storage area to insure it is well organized and parts removed from inventory are re-ordered\nMaintain maintenance daily MDI board by updating KPI’s\nMaintain filing in the maintenance department\nSchedule Preventive Maintenance Contractors for Chiller, HVAC, Air Compressor, Fire System, etc.\nOther duties as needed\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED required\nExperience using computers for data entry, record keeping, etc. required\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite required\nMinimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience required\nKnowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatics\nExcellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.\nAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.\nExperience with Radius, SAP, or other Production and Customer Management System required\nExperience operating a forklift is preferred\nPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:\nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
