hackajob is collaborating with Archer to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAvailability Needed – Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pmThe Line Avionics Technician II is responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electrical and avionics systems in a fast-paced maintenance environment. This role supports day-to-day aircraft operations and ensures all work is performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and company policies and procedures.Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies using hand tools and or soldering ironsAssemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxesConnect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters and in-flight refueling systemsInstall electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraftInterpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance issuesLay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagramsTest and troubleshoot instruments, components and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes and voltmeters to determine performance and airworthinessComplete systems checks, and configurationsComplete RVSM tasksMaintain timely and accurate records of regular maintenance and repairsComplies with company policy and procedures as contained in company manualCoordinate work with that of engineers, technicians and other aircraft maintenance personnel to ensure the delivery of the aircraft on time to the customerPerform other duties as assigned ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Must Have Ability ToAcute vision and hearing to detect problems and conduct inspections.Frequent walking, stretching, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.Ability to perform service operations in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.Manual dexterity to assemble parts, wires and components and to manipulate toolsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Minimum of 18 years of ageValid, unrestricted Driver's LicenseAbility to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's applicable insurance policiesMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employmentPrefer 3-6 years avionics experience in relative to general aviation and/or corporate aircraft.
